The Dorchester Youth Hockey Inc. program is renown for providing not only an opportunity to learn and play the game of hockey but life long personal growth skills. We're excited to have the opportunity to share these benefits with you. At DYH we offer many types of skating programs; these include Learn to Skate, in partnership with O'Sullivan Hockey Academy, Instructional Hockey for first year players ages 5-8, and different levels of Mites on up to Midgets for the older and more skilled player. Alumni of Dorchester Youth Hockey have gone on to excel at all levels of hockey, from high school to college to the pros.
In all levels of our program players experience positive motivation and goal setting. Our coaches provide a safe learning environment and strive to be effective role models for the players.

Dorchester Youth Hockey logo items are for sale at Beantown Athletics located at the corner of Granite Avenue and Hilltop Street. A portion of the cost of all DYH logo items purchased at Beantown is returned to our program.

DYH Looks to Expand Girl′s Program

The last two seasons DYH has had tremendous success with it's 12 and under girls only team. As a result of this success we are looking at the feasibility of expanding this program to include a 10 and under and 14 and under girls only teams. Anyone interested in participating on any of these teams is asked to e-mail Coach Sean Folan at
and advise him of their interest as well as the age of the prospective player. Adults interested in coaching any of these teams should e-mail Sean as well. It is important that we determine the level of interest as soon as possible so we can take appropriate steps to secure a spot in the league for these teams. It is anticipated that the teams will compete in the South Shore Conference and that tuition would be comparable to that of the coed travel teams.
Practice and Game Schedule

You can access an individual team's practice and game schedule via the schedule tab on the appropriate teams' page. Team pages are reached by clicking the team tab on the top of the home page and utilizing the drop down menus to locate the appropriate league and team. Practice schedules are posted on the DYH bulletin board outside the office at the Devine Rink as well.

Do you have pictures of DYH players in action? We are always looking for photos to add to our picture page. So if you have pictures of DYH players or photos from DYH related activities, such as the Golf Tournament or Comedy Night, send them along. We would also love to get pictures from years gone by so we can all take a trip down memory lane. If you would like to contribute to our picture page you can e-mail digital images to
